Although the physical wellbeing of our children is extremely important, we also understand how important mentoring is. In any programme or project that we deliver, we also make sure that our participants receive guidance and mentoring from our coaches whether it be on life skills, nutritional advice, mental wellbeing, or school life.
We encourage all of our children to take leadership roles throughout their sessions by allowing them to lead a game, help with set up or even by simply explaining the rules to the class. We also inspire our older children to help and lead the younger children.
This is only possible through the mentoring that the coaches will be giving the participants throughout our programmes. We have delivered nutritional classes to our younger participants wherein they were given the opportunity to try different fruits and other healthy foods while being taught the health benefits.
Our aim is for our young participants to gain much more than just a physically active life but also an overall healthier and happier life.
